Application Engineer

We are now looking for a technical and driven Application Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing customer solutions in a global market.

About the Role

As an Application Engineer at Evolabel, you will be a technical specialist responsible for guiding customers through the full lifecycle of their solutions — from requirement analysis and application design in the pre-sales phase to implementation, training, and ongoing technical guidance.

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role where you will work closely with customers as well as internal teams across Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Projects. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping drive successful installations, smooth integrations, and long-term customer success.

The position is based in Suwanee, GA, reports directly to the Head of Sales, and includes up to 50% travel.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze customer technical requirements and translate them into Evolabel applications and solutions
• Drive pre-implementation activities such as technical scoping, system configuration, and solution validation
• Participate in system integration, installation, commissioning, and service activities when required
• Deliver technical training to customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful system usage
• Act as a technical point of contact post-implementation and guide troubleshooting and optimization activities
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Project teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Gather customer and field feedback to contribute to continuous product and process improvement
• Contribute to internal technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing
• Support the development and refinement of internal processes related to applications and delivery

Qualifications & Skills

We believe you are a technically curious and solution-oriented person who enjoys combining hands-on work with customer interaction in an international environment.

You likely have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application engineering, technical consulting, systems engineering, or a similar technical role
• Strong technical understanding with a hands-on mindset within automation, mechanical systems, or IT environments
• Experience with system integration, installation, commissioning, or service delivery
• Familiarity with CAD tools, control systems, Linux environments, or general IT infrastructure is considered an advantage
• Experience working with ERP or CRM systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or HubSpot
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A structured and detail-oriented way of working, both independently and in cross-functional teams
